The ESL Teacher within the Special Populations Department plays a pivotal role in facilitating the academic success and linguistic development of English Language Learners (ELLs) within the school community. Tasked with providing targeted instruction and support, the ESL Teacher collaborates with classroom educators to implement effective English as a Second Language programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of at-risk students. Utilizing a variety of instructional methods and resources, the ESL Teacher fosters a supportive learning environment conducive to the acquisition of academic English proficiency. Through personalized intervention strategies and ongoing assessment, they guide students towards achieving curriculum goals while promoting cultural understanding and integration.
